Dark Knight Rises – Character Bio

Christopher Nolan is back for the third and final installment of his Batman Trilogy. Which launched with the acclaimed Batman Begins and The Dark Knight which both broke box office records around the world.

Now Christian Bale once again need to wore his Batman suit and protect Gotham City from the likes of Catwoman (Anne Hathaway) and Bane (Tom Hardy).

Also coming back are Michael Caine as Alfred; Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon; and Morgan Freeman returns as Lucius Fox.

Before going to your favorite cinema and enjoying this movie event, let me give you a brief background of the films main characters:

The Dark Knight – Batman

Known as the Dark Knight; the Caped Crusader; the World’s Greatest Detective or whatever you know him as, wherever you know him from—the blockbuster movies, TV shows, video games, cartoons, or millions of comics—Batman is proof you don’t need superpowers to be a superhero.

By day known as Bruce Wayne the millionaire playboy and entrepreneur who’s inherited his parents fortune at a young age. Orphan at a very young age, he swear vengeance and to clean Gotham City. Mastering all kinds of martial-art and studied the mindset of all known criminal he dedicated himself to becoming the world’s greatest weapon against crime—the Batman.

The Catwoman/ Selina Kyle

A cat burglar by profession with a ferocious attitude that can counter the abilities of the Dark Knight. Though a criminal in a very gruesome city of Gotham, she despise killing.   Sharp wits and an amazing natural skill as a gymnast led to her becoming the slickest cat burglar the Gotham City Police Department had ever dealt with. A female Robin-hood for she was also one of the most generous, spreading her ill-gotten gains among the downtrodden and destitute of the East End.


Now this is what comic enthusiast are actually wanting to see in this film. How Director Christopher Nolan’s adaptation to back breaking hero Bane.

Bane is a brilliant world-class fighter and tactical genius who augments his great physical strength with a steroid called venom. Raised from childhood in the Peña Duro prison on Santa Prisca, he determined that he would destroy Batman to prove himself, and succeeded by breaking the hero’s back during Knightfall. Since then he has been an international crimelord, an anti-hero, a mercenary, a government agent and even a dictator. His father is the legendary martial artist King Snake. Bane was created by Chuck Dixon, Doug Moench and Graham Nolan, first appearing in Batman: Vengeance of Bane #1. (1993)

Now that we all cleared that out all we need to do now is wait for when the Dark Knight Rises in cinemas.
