Morning Lugaw for Breakfast

May 21, 2011 – Last weekend, my friends and I went on a road trip to Quezon via the the Tanay, Rizal route on our motorcycles.

We stop by first at a local shop that offers Lugaw, goto and silog dishes. Were we need to meet up with the other joining the trip.

We ordered a few bowl of their hot lugaw (porridge) for breakfast before the long ride ahead and while waiting for the others to arrive.

It was not the usual taste that I expect, but it’s a different place were I usually dine so this might be how they cook it.

But as long my tummy is full I can’t complain. But a little more spice would actually made it much better.

Our first stop: Kamay ni Hesus Shrine (Lucban, Quezon)
