2011: Year for the Super Heroes

The Year is 2011 and this is the YEAR OF THE SUPER_HEROES.

Yes, this year is jam-pack of big screen adaptation of our favorite comic super heroes. In the past we have been getting the best of the best screen feature starting from Marvel with Spider-man, X-Men, Hulk, and Iron-Man. Not to mention the DC character that have top the movie box office like Superman and Batman.

The Green Hornet

The Green Hornet started the wave for this year. A very comedic approach to a serious series in that originate in the 1930s.

Headed by Seth Rogen as the masked vigilante and Jay Chou as Kato the ever so loyal butler/driver/body-guard/mechanic extraordinaire/barista.

See them make a name in the criminal underworld.

The Mighty Thor.  The Norse God will be striking his mighty hammer Mjolnir, in cinema this May 2011.

The hammer wielding hero is portrayed by Chris Hemsworth that was vanished of Asgard by Odin played by Anthony Hopkins.

Here is something you don’t see everyday. A war god amongst human with no power and confused. Now he has to live his life as an ordinary earthling searching for a way back to Asgard.

But thing is not always easy for our hero, for his brother Loki played by Tom Hiddleston has plan to destroy him and be the sole benefactor of Asgard thrown.

That is when all hell break loose on earth.

X-Men: First Class

Here we find ourself back in time as the famous Marvel super-human group has yet to be formed.

The movie portrayal of the X-Men First class has traveled a different path formthe comics version. No Cyclops to lead the team, it seems that our shape-shifting villain Mystique is an X-Man in this universe. Let see how it plays out.

Release date is June 2011.

Green Lantern

Now comes a DC hero that everybody is waiting for. Switching roles from being a mutant anti-hero to one of DC’s mightiest Emerald warrior.

Ryan Reynold has taken the role of Hal Jordan the greatest Green Lantern that ever live.

Seem to be pretty sweet spot to be in, Right?

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Only a few thing was written for the new sequel of the Transformer franchise.

All that is certain that our history will change big time.  As in robotic figure from other galaxy BIG.

As in transforming robot BIG that change in vehicle or jet fighter that can’t recognize.

Captain America: The First Avenger

Captain America: The First Avenger will joining his Avenger buddies in the big screen.

Chris Evans will no longer be “Flame ON” on this master epic film, but he will be wearing the Red, White and Blue shield to battle it out with the Red Skull as Captain America of WW1.
