Strenghthen your Triceps

The triceps cam from a Latin word which mean “three-headed” of the arm. It is the large muscle on the back of you arm that is responsible for straightening and most of the pushing movements your arms do.

Athlete strengthen their Triceps for many reasons. Some for bodybuilding, power-lifting, weightlifting or other sports and competitions such as arm wrestling or tennis. We may also want to train them for personal fitness or health benefits or for use in our play or work activities.

Here are some triceps strengthening workout you can do in the comfort of your home.

1. Push ups.

2. Close grip push ups. This will work your triceps more while doing pushups.

3. Dips. Perform with the feet raised up on another chair or bench to increase the difficulty.

4. Triceps extensions. If you don’t have a dumbbell at home use a full 1.5 liter plastic bottle as resistance.

Do a 3 sets of 10 – 15 repetitions

Always keep yourself hydrated in any physical activities.
