Fernando Alonso First F1 night Race winner

Two-time Formula One champion Fernando Alonso of Spain won the first ever F1 night race at the Singapore Grand Prix last Sunday. Completing the 61 laps at 01:57:16.304 according to official record. Followed by Rosberg and Hamilton at third.

“It is fantastic, I am extremely happy. I can’t believe it right now and it will take a few days to realise what we have done,” said Alonso.

The race was a new experience for every driver on a street circuit under powerful spotlights and it turned out to be one of the most exciting of the season. The whole race was completed in dry, though hot and humid condition and no sudden tropical downpours.
