Banana Leaf: an Authentic Malaysian and Thai Cuisine

Banana Leaf is an authentic Malaysian and Thai Cuisine restaurant! “Rich, spicy and full of surprises!” those are the words that come into mind after tasting a couple of their dishes, and I got to eat it in banana leaf of course. True to its name, dishes served here are meant to be shared and eaten on banana-leaf portions as replacement for plates, giving customers a unique taste and dining experience.

Banana Leaf’s heritage is a delightful diversity Malay, Thai, Indian and Chinese.

You can’t go wrong in Banana Leaf. If your planning to eat for lunch I would recommend that you go to Banana Leaf. Satisfying your taste to fill your food craving will be no problem. A well-lit dining hall to serve a comfortable refuge for those who want to enjoy fine Asian food choices over a great conversation.

I ordered the Nasi Goreng (a mixture of fried rice, shrimp, eggs and sambal), Malaysian Chicken Curry, and a glass of Pandan Iced Tea. The serving is good for 2-3 persons. So I have some bag to take home.

    hey chef ward, banana leaf is one of my favorites in my early existence in the professional world. First had a taste of this in greenbelt1 then they renovated the place. The one in podium is more like a “fast food” style whilst the gb branch is a semi-fine dining setting. With some exposure in the authentic malay and asian food, I can vouch too that banana leaf is among the few who offers the treasures of asian cuisine.
